Yolo County Recorder Freddie Oakley canceled with a dated stamp Ellen Pontac and Shelly Bailes' Certificate of Inequality more than a year after it was issued by Oakley. Oakley then presided over Pontac and Bailes civil marriage ceremony to declare them Yolo County's first legally married woman-woman couple.
