The Power of One solar car drives through Dixon Saturday afternoon. The team started their 10,000 mile world reacord journey on June 12 of 2008 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. They have driven west through Canada and up to Alaska before turning south through Washington, Oregon and California. On the road for over 200 days, the crew hopes to reach Inuvic in the Northwest Territories, Canada on June 21, "the longest day of the year in the land of the midnight sun."
